Belgian Irons coach is still a regular fixture, but i don't class them as tourists, they just happen to be from even further away than Dickie's beloved home counties. The tourist is the one that comes once when they over here anyway, we used to get those at the BG as well. As soon as anyone comes more than once they become occasional supporters in my book, regardless of where they are from, as they are obviously hooked.

Up until the appointment of Pellegrini I wasn’t going to renew, but hope springs eternal and like a fool, I have. I have done so in the full expectation of being led a merry fucking dance by the Dildo Bros, promising us Javier Pastore and delivering Joe Pasquale.

The 92% can mean whatever you want it to, but I do think it is a massive indication of a change in the core fan base. It’s a simplification, but if you assume that there were 45k “founder” ST holders, a 92% attrition rate pa means a third of those will not renew in the first five years of being at the OS. If the majority of those not renewing are those that held tickets at UP, it’s nearly half of what UP’s capacity was.

Well, I have read Charley Farley post his waiting list position in the 40k bracket with an estimated 8-10 year wait, based on the usual dropout figures.

I very much doubt people will pay the waiting list fee if the have little interest in an ST, but whether the newly available ones will be suitable for those waiting, I have no idea?

I must admit the idea of giving up mine, with the waiting list there, gives me more cause to renew. I think that is the case for Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs fans I know of with their ST’s. I think even some ST holders looking to relocate will find it difficult to move.

Tourist fans are nothing new. I remember two coach loads of Scandinavian Liverpool fans cheering for them in the West Upper 10 years ago or more.

Having seen anything that drastic at the new stadium.

Email today says I have to wait until Wednesday if I want to relocate. I renewed as soon as the window opened. Forget all this "I'm not renewing" big talk rubbish.

C&P

"With 92% of Season Ticket Holders renewing, seat relocation options will be limited and subject to availability, and prioritised by how early you renewed."

No idea OtB don’t really care anymore either, the fact there are some is irksome enough.

Jaan Kenbrovin, guess with the waiting list is pushing people to renew, as it'll be difficult to get an ST again if you drop out.

How many actually on the list then and if 48k as stated is true how many of those would actually buy a ST?

They sent me an email asking me to login in and state my preferred choice of ST, did I bother err no like many others I suspect, but it is a big stick to beat ST holders with and clearly working.

That’s changed then Ern because when I stood about 4 blocks away they seemed positively bemused by any attempts at getting an atmosphere going.

RARELY stood up either.

2 mates who've moved oooop north so don't get a season tkt that's where they get their tkts and they reckon it's mostly old school west ham in there that don't get season tkts anymore rather than tourists or day trippers

That’s the day trippers Thomas Cook tourist stand, deliberately done so by the club.

Anyone would think they’re trying to sanitise the whole thing.

Sound great to sell out but I don’t like empty white seats especially behind the goal next to away fans

Re: Season ticket renewals - 87/88%
Another sell-out of season tickets will be impressive.

I guess with the waiting list is pushing people to renew, as it'll be difficult to get an ST again if you drop out.

Probably

Although dicksie doesn’t want anyone who lives in Kent or Essex to go West Ham so I guess it applies to you too.
